Have you ever found a man that may be a bit older than you to be highly sexy or attractive? Or maybe you are a woman who only finds older men attractive as they may be a bit Zaddy to you?

Girls may use the term "Zaddy" as a term of agreement in how a man looks at her or a group of women. Perhaps you have a very stylish look that may drive the girls crazy.

This post unpacks the meaning and origin of this expression.

Zaddy means sexy or attractive, however, the term is strictly used on older men as opposed to those of a younger age. In short, the term "Zaddy" is an instinctual feeling a person will get when they see an attractive man who is older than they are and is well dressed and stylish with a seductive tone to his character.

James bond would make a great example of a "Zaddy man." Zaddy is always a sexual reference and often used when referring to sugar daddies or older men who are sexually attractive.

This phrase is gender specific, used only to describe men older than you, typically 40 and up. If you are passionate about a man who looks very attractive to you and feels that he may be well off and spend lavishly on his partner, this man is a Zaddy. However, being a Zaddy doesn't mean that you are a daddy. There is also an assumption that the older man has a certain amount of sexual prowess or at least knows what needs to be done to please their partner. In some cases, a zaddy will simply mean a well-dressed older man who is highly stylish and knows how to carry himself. This word has been used by celebrities for quite some time but has recently surfaced as a new word for the public. The term "Zaddy" isn't truly a definable word as it is derived from the feeling that women get from a particular attractive well put together older man that gives the appearance that he can handle himself in and outside of the bedroom. You cannot label yourself as Zaddy, as I'm sure many have tried.

As the word, Zaddy was invented recently, and through channels that aren't precisely customary, it is hard to determine who exactly coined the phrase. Many believe, however, that the words are strictly AAVE or (African American Vernacular English.)

The word Zaddy is somewhat undefinable as it is an emotional response to a particular individual.

Have you ever found a man that may be a bit older than you to be highly sexy or attractive?
