Origin

The expression ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ originates from a song by Sri Lankan pop artists, Satheeshan and Dulan ARX. Chamath Sangeeth produced the track's original version in July 2020 during the pandemic lockdowns in Sri Lanka.

Hasith Aryan (Hasitha Vithanage) directed the music video, and Satheeshan and Dulan ARX wrote and performed the lyrics. An official cover of the song by Yohani and Satheeshan was released in May 2021.
